The One-Skated Wonder

Step-roll, step-roll,
The one-skated wonder is out for a stroll;
Step-roll, step-roll,
You'd think that she'd feel like she's less than a whole—
Step-roll, step-roll,
But she'll only use one cuz she's more in control,
And "suffering in body brings health to the soul"—
Step-roll, step-roll, step-roll-l-l-l—

Step-roll, step-roll,
The one-skated wonder is cruising the streets
Step-roll, step-roll,
A curious sight to the people she meets
Step-roll, step-roll,
They watch with amazement her marvelous feets,
Cuz ESPN ne'er shows such ath-e-letes
Step-roll, step-roll, step-roll-l-l-l—

Step-roll, step-roll,
The one-skated wonder!  She goes and she goes,
Step-roll, step-roll,
She's expertly guiding herself with her toes.
Step-roll, step-roll,
And where she is off to, the wind only knows.
She'll stop when the summer is through, I suppose,
Step-roll, step-roll, step-roll-l-l-l--

Push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l, push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l,
The one-skated wonder limps home from her stroll.
Push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l, push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l,
Her non-skated shoe has developed a hole,
Push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l, push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l,
Though strengthened in body, she's wounded in sole—
It must've been after she hit that pothole—
Push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l, push-roll-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-l-!-!-!-!
