Confessions of a Couch Potato

Don't you think it's funny
How it costs a lot of money
Just to get some kind of thrill
Going sliding down a hill?
                  I don't.

And won't you sit and pout
And feel horribly left out
When it's someone else goes flying
And ends up maimed and crying?
                  I won't.

And can't you feel an aching
With each breath that you are taking
If it's someone else that chooses
To receive those bumps and bruises?
                  I can't.

 And won't you feel sad
'Bout the fun you haven't had
Riding fast through your environs
'Neath an ambulance's sirens?
                  I shan't.
